Current Water Technologies Inc. is a Canada-based company, which is the development, manufacturing, and sales of advanced electrochemically based water treatment systems. The Company is involved in electro-static deionization (ESD) and the treatment of total ammonia (AmmEL) using electrochemical technologies. The Company operates through two segments: Current Water and Pumptronics. The Current Water operates in treating water and engineering, manufacturing and sales of advanced water systems. Pumptronics is engaged in developing hydraulic fluid systems to move water and other liquids. Its patented ESD (deionization) and its patented AmmEL (ammonia), and NitrEL (nitrate) technologies represent alternatives to biological, ion exchange and reverse osmosis systems. AmdEL (acid mine drainage) is dedicated to the prevention of acidic leachate production from sulfide mine waste.
