Innscor Africa Limited manufactures and sells fast moving and durable consumer goods in Zimbabwe and internationally. It operates through Mill-Bake, Protein, and Other Light Manufacturing and Services segments. The Mill-Bake segment is involved in the milling of flour and maize; manufacturing of stock feeds and soft snacks; down packing of grocery products; operation of bread lines in Harare and Bulawayo; and retailing of day-old chicks, stock feeds, and farming accessories, as well as owns and rents properties. The Protein segment engages in the feed lotting and slaughtering cattle; retailing and wholesaling of beef products; and retail of poultry products, as well as produces, processes, and markets pork and related food products. It also produces frozen chicken, chicken feeds, table eggs, and day-old chicks. The Other Light Manufacturing and Services segment offers open mouth, general purpose, carrier, and BOPP bags. This segment is also involved in the manufacturing and selling dairy based products, including fresh milk and dairy juice products; carbonated soft drinks and cordials; grading, storage and marketing of potatoes; brewing and marketing of sorghum beer; distribution of fast-moving consumer goods; and down-packing and manufacture of a number of grocery products. The company was founded in 1987 and is based in Harare, Zimbabwe.
