The Company is a mineral exploration, development and mining company engaged in the business of acquiring, exploring, developing and evaluating mineral properties, and either joint venturing, developing or disposing of the properties, when the evaluation is complete. The Company is currently in a joint venture with Hudbay Minerals Inc. (HBM:TSX) which started commercial production at the Reed Mine, effective April 1, 2014. The company also conducts exploration programs on its Snow Lake Copper-Zinc Properties being: 9-7 Zone, Copper Extension, Copper Project, Copper South, Copperman, Cowan River, Farwell, Grass Valley, Leak Lake, McClarty, McClarty North, Mort and Sails East, Sails. The Company also has exploration programs on Sails Lake JV, Puella Bay JV, along with the Fox Property near Lynn Lake and the Ruttan (Darrol) Project near Leaf Rapids. As well, the Company is conducting exploration programs on Black Creek, its Ontario Property. All the Copper-Zinc and Gold Projects are situated in Manitoba and Ontario, Canada. The Company on April 10, 2015 closed an acquisition agreement for a 100% interest in the Assean Lake gold claims in Manitoba. VMS Ventures Inc. operates as a subsidiary of Karora Resources Inc.
