It's going to get ugly !
Bitcoin May 08, 2022 8:57
Sometimes back I mentioned BTC forming a (bearish) perfect reverse flag pattern on daily chart starting Nov 2021 !  However, that pattern was predicting nightmare prices, so I mentioned it but ignored it ! However, BTC is now breaking below (as expected) and if we see volume too ( on monday) then,,,, this bear flag pattern is predicting, with 70% accuracy, that the BTC floor prices in 12K

Darn Censors !,,,,, So ya, California case (above) epitomizes our approach towards environment, we talk and blame others (India) but we ourselves put no money on the table even for projects that make sense ! so India is 6th and we are back in 30s !!

,No worry, India seems to be doing a much better job of growing using limited resources than we or China did/doing !  But yes, they will increasingly take greater share of what we once though was ours :0 ! I did look up on water,,, seems India stores just 30 days rainfall ( compared to 900 days in Europe) ! However, ambitious plans in place, to link perennial north with seasonal south rivers, for better water harvesting, with 40 year budget of trillion at today's prices ! Only about 10% has been completed with World Bank as partners, so not really of private interest ! One of those interesting project in Indian state of Gujarat,  covers water channel with solar panels, to generate electricity (100 megawatts) and prevent water evaporation ! UC Santa Cruz has investigated this method for use in California and estimates that, on top of generating green energy, it would save 63,5 billion gallons of water from evaporation annually in California, but has no money for it! Really? No money?  ,No worry, India seems to be doing a much better job of growing using limited resources than we or China did/doing !  But yes, they will increasingly take greater share of what we once though was ours :0 ! I don't think you meant to say,,, Indians should remain poor and not use the resources, and leave those resources for us to binge on ! If you did,,, lol,, I have nothing to counter that one !

,,  First , as per Center fr Global Development, the countries ranked on 'environment component' for 2021 (CDI) is, Sweden, France, Portugal, Spain, Chile, INDIA,,, Yes,,, India on 6th spot globally ! China is 22 and Canada, US on 36,37 spots ! We should be ashamed of pointing fingers at India wrongly ! For this reason, india is now preferred investment destination of mega large funds ! Also, except for 15% of Muslim population, 85% of population have net negative births ! Regarding 'fish', well about 70% of indians are fully or almost fully vegetarians (84% without Muslims)  unlike mainland Chinese where 5% is vegetarian and they eat 'anything that moves' !  Regarding India being poor, well, when our ancestors reached the shores of India, India;s GDP was 25-30% of worlds GDP ! After we had looted it for 150years, India's GDP was 2% of worlds GDP ! We taxed them to buy resources and sold finished back !  England loot 45 Trillion USD in todays value! Like it or not India is here now! ,,  First , as per Center fr Global Development, the countries ranked on 'environment component' for 2021 (CDI) is, Sweden, France, Portugal, Spain, Chile, INDIA,,, Yes,,, India on 6th spot globally !  ,, If that is what more people here think of India, then, their markets may be undervalued even at these prices,,, hmm ! Anyways, I think India may be next China but on steroids ! (Didn't know, China killed off its population to become the richest nation on earth in 25 years ;) ,, If that is what more people here think of India, then, their markets may be undervalued even at these prices,,, hmm !  ,, In the 1990s, i lost out on China, cause western media convinced us not to believe anything China says ! It was only in 2000s that our money manager invested (ignoring my wife's wrath hehe) and it was a lottery till mid 2010s  ! What you wrote about India is a typical stereotype but unlike China, information about India can be research in IMF and World Bank papers ! So, you are in for a surprise! I am still conflicted about moving now or wait longer ! However, they are making unicorns from startups faster than previous leaders (US and China) and i don't want to miss out again ! ,, In the 1990s, i lost out on China, cause western media convinced us not to believe anything China says ! Anyone looking at India? ! Seems India is on fire  ! From 1400 startups just seven years back, to 68000 today (100 unicorns)  ! IMF/World Bank ranks it's growth rate double that of China in 2022 ! Cons: at has large restive minority community constantly at odds with progressive values !
Gold May 06, 2022 10:02
Anyone think gold is due for a sharp dip  ! Some portfolios may be going underwater, about now, due to stock market crash and gold is the asset still holding up in % terms? So margin calls may lead to Gold liquidation ! It did that in 2008 and confused a lot of gold bugs !
Gold May 06, 2022 9:57
Gold is insurance against currency crisis ! Hold physical about 5-10% and forget it cause it will go up with cost of mining (inflation)! Crypto is easy to call ! Its linked to stock market,, right?
S&P 500 Futures May 06, 2022 9:51
