Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Personal & Household Goods and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.85%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 2.91% or 15.5 points to trade at 547.5 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) added 2.54% or 13.5 points to end at 544.0 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was up 2.22% or 6.9 points to 317.9 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which lost 0.17% or 0.6 points to trade at 359.0 in late trade. TDC A/S (CO:TDC) declined 0.08% or 0.03 points to end at 36.33 and Genmab (CO:GEN) shed 0.07% or 1.0 points to 1394.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 79 to 45 and 13 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.42% or 0.20 to $47.84 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.04% or 0.02 to hit $50.66 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.25% or 3.15 to trade at $1246.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.09% to 6.8961, while EUR/DKK fell 0.04% to 7.4361.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 99.55.
