Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 2.27%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were William Demant Holding (COP:WDH), which rose 1.43% or 7.5 points to trade at 533.0 at the close. Meanwhile, DSV (COP:DSV) added 1.20% or 3.0 points to end at 252.9 and Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA) was up 0.57% or 4.5 points to 799.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novozymes B (COP:NZYMb), which fell 12.93% or 46.9 points to trade at 315.8 at the close. Novo Nordisk B (COP:NOVOb) declined 3.46% or 14.2 points to end at 396.5 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (COP:CHRH) was down 1.85% or 7.0 points to 371.4.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 91 to 66 and 4 ended unchanged.
Shares in DSV (COP:DSV) rose to all time highs; up 1.20% or 3.0 to 252.9. Shares in Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA) rose to all time highs; up 0.57% or 4.5 to 799.0.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.93% or 0.87 to $44.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.20% or 0.59 to hit $48.99 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.60% or 6.50 to trade at $1092.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.25% to 6.8254, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4618.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.13% at 97.84.
