Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Basic Industry, Miscellaneous Industry and Manufacturing sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index declined 0.45%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Asuransi Jasa Tania Tbk (JK:ASJT), which rose 30.00% or 39.00 points to trade at 169.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Bank Pundi Indonesia Tbk (JK:BEKS) added 13.21% or 7 points to end at 60 and Trias Sentosa Tbk (JK:TRST) was up 11.63% or 25 points to 240 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ictsi Jasa Prima Tbk (JK:KARW), which fell 10.00% or 30 points to trade at 270 at the close. Kabelindo Murni Tbk (JK:KBLM) declined 9.85% or 13 points to end at 119 and Intan Baruprana Finance Tbk (JK:IBFN) was down 9.80% or 25.00 points to 230.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 181 to 141 and 46 ended unchanged.
Shares in Ictsi Jasa Prima Tbk (JK:KARW) fell to 52-week lows; down 10.00% or 30 to 270. Shares in Intan Baruprana Finance Tbk (JK:IBFN) fell to all time lows; down 9.80% or 25.00 to 230.00.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.11% or 0.50 to $45.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.09% or 0.52 to hit $48.37 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.03% or 0.40 to trade at $1166.70 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 1.40% to 13640.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.35% to 9940.15.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.09% at 95.16.
