Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Healthcare, Chemicals and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.84%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes B (CO:NZYMb), which rose 6.77% or 20.2 points to trade at 318.4 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) added 2.92% or 27.5 points to end at 970.5 and Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) was up 1.78% or 1.15 points to 65.85 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 2.97% or 25.0 points to trade at 818.0 in late trade. Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) declined 0.55% or 3.5 points to end at 637.5 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) shed 0.46% or 1.3 points to 281.6.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 80 to 58 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.91% or 0.40 to $43.78 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 1.16% or 0.53 to hit $45.27 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.19% or 2.40 to trade at $1252.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.02% to 6.5862, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4419.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.01% at 94.53.
