Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrials, Financials and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.27%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 13.70% or 770.0 points to trade at 6390.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU) added 4.00% or 310.0 points to end at 8060.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was up 2.02% or 500.0 points to 25200.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Grupo Aval Acciones Y Valores Pf (CN:GAA_p), which fell 2.03% or 25.0 points to trade at 1205.0 at the close. Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) declined 1.60% or 150.0 points to end at 9200.0 and Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) was down 1.47% or 860.0 points to 58500.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 15 to 14 and 4 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.65% or 0.78 to $117.67 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.51% or 16.50 to hit $3252.50 , while the December Gold contract rose 1.55% or 17.10 to trade at $1119.70 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 1.95% to 2967.50, while BRL/COP fell 1.01% to 775.82.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.28% at 95.49.
