Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Telecoms, Real Estate and Media sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Amsterdam, the AEX lost 1.37%.
The best performers of the session on the AEX were NN Group (AMS:NN), which rose 0.47% or 0.12 points to trade at 25.57 at the close. Meanwhile, TNT Express (AMS:TNTE) added 0.01% or 0.001 points to end at 7.489 and Aalberts Industries (AMS:AALB) was down 0.07% or 0.02 points to 27.16 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Delta Lloyd (AMS:DLL), which fell 3.62% or 0.33 points to trade at 8.74 at the close. Altice NV (AMS:ATCA) declined 3.62% or 0.86 points to end at 23.00 and Vopak (AMS:VOPA) was down 2.72% or 1.00 points to 35.89.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 132 to 39 and 3 ended unchanged.
Shares in Delta Lloyd (AMS:DLL) fell to all time lows; down 3.62% or 0.33 to 8.74. Shares in Vopak (AMS:VOPA) fell to 52-week lows; falling 2.72% or 1.00 to 35.89.
The AEX Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was down 0.32% to 31.31.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.48% or 1.14 to $44.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.67% or 0.81 to hit $48.08 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.62% or 6.90 to trade at $1102.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.45% to 1.1330, while EUR/GBP rose 0.56% to 0.7345.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.31% at 95.26.
