Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Financials and Investment sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 2.13%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which rose 6.88% or 75.0 points to trade at 1165.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Celsia SA (CN:CEL) added 5.87% or 135.0 points to end at 2435.0 and Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) was up 4.25% or 1300.0 points to 31900.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which fell 0.95% or 90.0 points to trade at 9400.0 at the close. Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) declined 0.68% or 60.0 points to end at 8800.0 and Empresa De Energia De Bogota (CN:EEB) was down 0.29% or 5.0 points to 1690.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 23 to 4 and 1 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for March delivery was down 0.79% or 0.95 to $119.78 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 0.98% or 33.00 to hit $3351.50 , while the February Gold contract fell 0.21% or 2.20 to trade at $1061.20 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.08% to 3316.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.24% to 856.40.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.59% at 98.32.
