Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Auto & components, Consumer Durables And Apparel and Media sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.43%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MHG), which rose 1.37% or 1.80 points to trade at 133.00 at the close. Orkla ASA (OL:ORK) added 0.73% or 0.55 points to end at 76.08 and REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) was up 0.38% or 0.01 points to 1.33 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bw Lpg (OL:BWLPG), which lost 8.96% or 2.51 points to trade at 25.49 in late trade. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) declined 5.14% or 1.60 points to end at 29.50 and Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) shed 3.68% or 0.70 points to 18.34.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 111 to 54 and 29 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.41% or 0.19 to $46.96 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.59% or 0.29 to hit $49.34 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.34% or 4.55 to trade at $1325.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.15% to 9.2730, while USD/NOK rose 0.08% to 8.2267.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.05% at 94.78.
