Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Petrochemicals, Building & Construction and Hotels & Tourism sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.75%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were AXA Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8250), which rose 8.24% or 1.55 points to trade at 20.35 at the close. Lazurde for Jewelry Co (SE:4011) added 5.60% or 1.40 points to end at 26.40 and Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230) was up 5.54% or 2.30 points to 43.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Pharmaceutical Appliances (SE:2070), which lost 3.02% or 1.20 points to trade at 38.60 in late trade. Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) declined 2.21% or 0.20 points to end at 8.85 and Tabuk Cement Co. (SE:3090) shed 1.88% or 0.25 points to 13.05.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 133 to 20 and 17 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.64% or 0.87 to $53.87 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.91% or 1.06 to hit $56.69 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.15% or 1.80 to trade at $1235.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.17% to 3.9903, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7505.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 100.72.
