Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Real Estate, Healthcare and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.06%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG), which rose 4.95% or 12.30 points to trade at 261.00 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) added 2.01% or 5.5 points to end at 279.0 and Nets A/S (CO:NETS) was up 1.72% or 2.10 points to 124.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH), which lost 1.38% or 1.7 points to trade at 121.2 in late trade. Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) declined 1.22% or 5.8 points to end at 468.0 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) shed 0.95% or 0.34 points to 35.31.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 66 to 62 and 12 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was down 1.05% or 0.56 to $52.74 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.19% or 0.66 to hit $54.69 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.01% or 0.10 to trade at $1133.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.44% to 7.1252, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4344.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.26% at 102.99.
