Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Healthcare and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.85%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes B (CO:NZYMb), which rose 0.76% or 2.2 points to trade at 290.7 at the close. Tryg A/S (CO:TRYG) added 0.64% or 0.8 points to end at 126.3 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was up 0.56% or 1.5 points to 267.7 in late trade.
Biggest losers included DSV (CO:DSV), which lost 3.14% or 8.9 points to trade at 274.1 in late trade. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 1.86% or 165 points to end at 8720 and Novo Nordisk B (CO:NOVOb) shed 1.64% or 6.0 points to 360.5.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 70 to 68 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.61% or 0.25 to $41.39 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.34% or 0.14 to hit $41.34 a barrel, while the April Gold contract fell 0.81% or 10.20 to trade at $1244.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.24% to 6.6296, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4543.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.28% at 95.34.
