Bitcoin Falls 10.11% In Bearish Trade

Investing.com - Bitcoin was trading at $51,386.1 by 09:12 (14:12 GMT) on the Investing.com Index on Monday, up 10.11% on the day. It was the largest one-day percentage gain since Monday, February 22, 2021.

The move upwards pushed Bitcoin's market cap up to $973.7B, or 61.61% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. At its highest, Bitcoin's market cap was $1,071.2B.

Bitcoin had traded in a range of $51,306.7 to $57,480.5 in the previous twenty-four hours.

Over the past seven days, Bitcoin has seen a rise in value, as it gained 8.79%. The volume of Bitcoin traded in the twenty-four hours to time of writing was $65.6B or 37.68% of the total volume of all cryptocurrencies. It has traded in a range of $47,044.4258 to $58,335.1289 in the past 7 days.

At its current price, Bitcoin is still down 11.91% from its all-time high of $58,335.13 set on Sunday, February 21, 2021.

Elsewhere in cryptocurrency trading

Ethereum was last at $1,698.77 on the Investing.com Index, down 13.07% on the day.

Binance Coin was trading at $235.4943 on the Investing.com Index, a loss of 19.68%.

Ethereum's market cap was last at $197.9B or 12.52% of the total cryptocurrency market cap, while Binance Coin's market cap totaled $37.9B or 2.40% of the total cryptocurrency market value.
