Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Building & Construction and Multi Investment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 2.65% to hit a new 3-years low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Emaar The Economic City (SE:4220), which rose 8.58% or 1.00 points to trade at 12.65 at the close. Meanwhile, National Gas & Industrialization Co (SE:2080) added 5.91% or 1.45 points to end at 26.00 and The National Shipping Co. (SE:4030) was up 4.04% or 1.90 points to 48.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Arabian Shield Coop Insurance Co (SE:8070), which fell 8.93% or 2.60 points to trade at 26.50 at the close. SABB Takaful (SE:8080) declined 7.98% or 2.80 points to end at 32.30 and Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070) was down 7.21% or 2.20 points to 28.30.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 153 to 13.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 3.84% or 1.41 to $35.35 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $38.32 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.19% or 2.00 to trade at $1074.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.46% to 4.1248, while USD/SAR fell 0.03% to 3.7515.
The US Dollar Index was unchanged 0.00% at 97.61.
