Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.50%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 1.92% or 8.3 points to trade at 440.2 at the close. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) added 1.25% or 4.9 points to end at 396.9 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was up 1.03% or 3.0 points to 295.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb), which lost 1.47% or 3.3 points to trade at 220.7 in late trade. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 1.44% or 18.0 points to end at 1233.0 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) shed 1.19% or 5.3 points to 438.9.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 91 to 51 and 17 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.19% or 0.09 to $48.12 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.10% or 0.05 to hit $49.17 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 1.84% or 22.25 to trade at $1188.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.62% to 7.0434, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4389.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.52% at 101.62.
