Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.03%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (COP:GEN), which rose 4.00% or 24.5 points to trade at 637.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (COP:DANSKE) added 0.72% or 1.5 points to end at 208.5 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (COP:CHRH) was up 0.67% or 2.3 points to 344.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS), which fell 2.10% or 5.1 points to trade at 237.5 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS) declined 1.37% or 4.8 points to end at 346.6 and Carlsberg A/S B (COP:CARLb) was down 1.14% or 5.7 points to 495.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 96 to 57 and 3 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 3.50% or 1.61 to $44.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 3.62% or 1.79 to hit $47.81 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.25% or 2.80 to trade at $1118.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.15% to 6.6823, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4618.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.10% at 96.16.
