Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Biomed and Banking sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 gained 0.06%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were Isramco L (TA:ISRAp), which rose 1.66% or 1.1 points to trade at 67.5 at the close. Discount (TA:DSCT) added 1.22% or 8.1 points to end at 669.6 and Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) was up 1.10% or 870 points to 80270 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Strauss Group (TA:STRS), which lost 1.57% or 97 points to trade at 6070 in late trade. Melisron (TA:MLSR) declined 0.87% or 140 points to end at 15980 and Nice Ltd (TA:NICE) shed 0.84% or 210 points to 24650.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 200 to 126 and 112 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.37% or 0.17 to $45.77 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.06% or 0.03 to hit $46.99 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.14% or 1.85 to trade at $1331.15 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.19% to 3.8610, while EUR/ILS fell 0.39% to 4.2517.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.59% at 97.13.
