Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Financials and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.33%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (CO:DSV), which rose 2.36% or 6.5 points to trade at 282.3 at the close. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) added 0.23% or 0.3 points to end at 129.4 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was up 0.20% or 2.0 points to 1000.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb), which lost 2.90% or 18.5 points to trade at 619.5 in late trade. Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) declined 0.85% or 2.2 points to end at 256.4 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) shed 0.79% or 0.27 points to 34.08.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 74 to 63 and 25 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 2.96% or 1.32 to $45.98 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 3.58% or 1.63 to hit $47.15 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.55% or 6.95 to trade at $1271.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.50% to 6.5101, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4409.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.48% at 93.77.
