Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Agriculture & Food, Building & Construction and Insurance sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.29%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE:8190), which rose 9.96% or 1.15 points to trade at 12.70 at the close. United Wire Factories Company (SE:1301) added 9.64% or 2.40 points to end at 27.30 and Saudi Industrial Export Co (SE:4140) was up 6.42% or 2.60 points to 43.10 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which lost 3.21% or 0.35 points to trade at 10.55 in late trade. The Qassim Cement Co (SE:3040) declined 2.69% or 1.75 points to end at 63.25 and Arabian Cement Co (SE:3010) shed 1.47% or 0.75 points to 50.25.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 115 to 33 and 22 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $46.65 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.29% or 0.61 to hit $47.98 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.43% or 5.70 to trade at $1337.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.80% to 4.1375, while USD/SAR rose 0.04% to 3.7521.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.62% at 96.70.
