BOGOTA, April 21 (Reuters) - Colombia produced an average of
916,000 barrels of crude oil per day (bpd) in March, the Mines
and Energy Ministry said on Thursday.
The output was down 10.45 percent from the year before,
according to Reuters calculations. It did not give a reason for
the decline.
Natural gas production fell 7.28 percent year on year to
1.057 billion cubic feet per day.
State-run Ecopetrol ECO.CN produces more than one-half of
Colombia's oil, while Toronto-listed Pacific Exploration and
Production Corp PRE.TO is the biggest private player.

output. Some figures may have been modified slightly by the
government since they were first released:
