Investing.com – Finland equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Technology, Utilities and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.19%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 1.97% or 0.1150 points to trade at 5.9600 at the close. Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) added 1.55% or 0.077 points to end at 5.055 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) was up 1.07% or 0.29 points to 27.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Sampo Oyj A (HE:SAMPO), which lost 1.31% or 0.53 points to trade at 39.95 in late trade. Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V) declined 0.95% or 0.30 points to end at 31.36 and Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) shed 0.67% or 0.27 points to 40.03.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 86 to 83 and 19 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for December delivery was down 3.44% or 1.65 to $46.28 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 3.51% or 1.61 to hit $44.32 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 1.05% or 14.15 to trade at $1329.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.36% to 1.1214, while EUR/GBP fell 0.66% to 0.8615.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.21% at 95.41.
