WARSAW, June 21 (Reuters) - Poland's jobless rate fall may
lose its tempo, as there are number of people who are
permanently jobless, but there is a chance that the unemployment
may fall below 9 percent in June, Deputy Labour Minister
Stanislaw Szwed said on Tuesday.
The ministry had estimated the May jobless rate at 9.2
percent, while in April it amounted to 9.5 percent, according to
the statistics office's official data.
"I think that the jobless rate's fall in the following
months will not be so rapid like until now, as there is a big
number of permanently unemployed people," Szwed told reporters.
"Nevertheless, I think that it is possible that the
unemployment rate will fall below 9 percent in June," he added..
