Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Financials, Technology and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 2.31%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH), which rose 4.35% or 5.3 points to trade at 127.0 at the close. TDC A/S (CO:TDC) added 4.09% or 1.23 points to end at 31.28 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was up 3.75% or 6.2 points to 171.6 in late trade.
Biggest losers included GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which added 0.52% or 0.6 points to trade at 115.4 in late trade. Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) added 0.76% or 4.5 points to end at 597.5 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) gained 1.64% or 5.6 points to 347.5.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 127 to 22 and 12 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 2.16% or 1.00 to $47.33 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.95% or 0.93 to hit $48.70 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.52% or 6.95 to trade at $1317.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.31% to 6.7240, while EUR/DKK fell 0.10% to 7.4384.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.27% at 96.29.
