Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Banking and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 gained 0.06% to hit a new 3-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were Melisron (TA:MLSR), which rose 1.49% or 250 points to trade at 16990 at the close. OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) added 1.43% or 55 points to end at 3910 and Strauss Group (TA:STRS) was up 0.95% or 58 points to 6153 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nice Ltd (TA:NICE), which lost 1.30% or 340 points to trade at 25740 in late trade. Avner L (TA:AVNRp) declined 1.21% or 3.2 points to end at 260.4 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) shed 0.92% or 14 points to 1515.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 203 to 138 and 97 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $43.02 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.20% or 0.09 to hit $45.30 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.44% or 5.95 to trade at $1347.25 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.01% to 3.8196, while EUR/ILS rose 0.18% to 4.2428.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.22% at 96.08.
