Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Holding Companies and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.03%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Managem (CS:MNG), which rose 5.96% or 32 points to trade at 563 at the close. Meanwhile, Label Vie (CS:LBV) added 5.93% or 62 points to end at 1106 and Jet Contractors (CS:JET) was up 5.26% or 10.00 points to 200.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Stroc Industrie (CS:STR), which fell 5.97% or 2.38 points to trade at 37.42 at the close. Afriquia Gaz (CS:AGAZ1) declined 5.96% or 139 points to end at 2191 and Ib Maroc.Com (CS:IBMC) was down 5.69% or 3.50 points to 58.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 21 to 17 and 4 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was down 4.80% or 1.54 to $30.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 3.67% or 1.21 to hit $31.64 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 1.06% or 11.60 to trade at $1107.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.04% to 10.7390, while USD/MAD fell 0.10% to 9.9320.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.16% at 99.44.
