Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Telecoms and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.46%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SKF, AB ser. B (ST:SKFb), which rose 0.77% or 1.3 points to trade at 170.3 at the close. Meanwhile, Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken A (ST:SEBa) added 0.49% or 0.50 points to end at 103.40 and Hennes & Mauritz AB, H & M ser. B (ST:HMb) was up 0.48% or 1.7 points to 353.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which fell 4.68% or 7.80 points to trade at 158.90 at the close. Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) declined 2.76% or 3.20 points to end at 112.70 and TeliaSonera AB (ST:TLSN) was down 1.86% or 0.95 points to 50.25.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 245 to 185 and 2 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.69% or 0.29 to $42.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.67% or 0.34 to hit $49.30 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.19% or 2.10 to trade at $1113.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.12% to 9.4654, while USD/SEK rose 0.48% to 8.5198.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.27% at 96.62.
