Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 2.27%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (COP:CHRH), which rose 4.33% or 14.5 points to trade at 349.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (COP:GEN) added 4.15% or 25.0 points to end at 628.0 and Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA) was up 3.18% or 24.0 points to 778.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ISS A/S (COP:ISS), which fell 2.34% or 5.40 points to trade at 225.50 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS) declined 2.08% or 5.3 points to end at 249.1 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (COP:MAERSKb) was up 1.16% or 130 points to 11310.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 117 to 35 and 7 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 2.01% or 0.93 to $47.18 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.30% or 0.66 to hit $51.16 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.99% or 11.20 to trade at $1122.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 1.01% to 6.7145, while EUR/DKK fell 0.06% to 7.4592.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.63% at 96.48.
