Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 2.53% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which rose 1.40% or 3.6 points to trade at 261.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) fell 0.28% or 1.0 points to end at 355.2 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was down 0.29% or 1.5 points to 524.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which fell 5.94% or 47.5 points to trade at 752.0 at the close. Novozymes B (CO:NZYMb) declined 3.78% or 10.6 points to end at 270.0 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) was down 3.60% or 1.24 points to 33.19.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 116 to 37 and 8 ended unchanged.
Shares in TDC A/S (CO:TDC) fell to 5-year lows; falling 3.60% or 1.24 to 33.19.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.86% or 0.40 to $46.26 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.38% or 0.19 to hit $49.50 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.96% or 11.20 to trade at $1176.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.55% to 6.5204, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4615.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.60% at 94.23.
