Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Healthcare and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 2.36%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE), which rose 4.94% or 5.60 points to trade at 119.00 at the close. Meanwhile, SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) added 4.49% or 0.89 points to end at 20.73 and Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) was up 4.22% or 7.6 points to 187.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b), which fell 11.24% or 8.95 points to trade at 70.70 at the close. Atlas Copco AB ser. A (ST:ATCOa) declined 7.23% or 14.3 points to end at 183.4 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIBs) was down 6.99% or 13.9 points to 184.9.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 346 to 216 and 6 ended unchanged.
Shares in Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) fell to 52-week lows; falling 11.24% or 8.95 to 70.70.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 3.10% or 1.00 to $33.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 3.24% or 1.10 to hit $35.03 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.07% or 0.80 to trade at $1115.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.48% to 9.3158, while USD/SEK fell 0.09% to 8.5037.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.49% at 98.54.
