Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.01%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 2.68% or 1.04 points to trade at 39.78 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) added 2.58% or 29.0 points to end at 1152.0 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was up 1.27% or 1.9 points to 151.9 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 1.40% or 11.5 points to trade at 812.0 in late trade. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) declined 0.99% or 5.5 points to end at 551.5 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) shed 0.72% or 1.0 points to 138.8.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 79 to 75 and 11 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 2.34% or 1.03 to $45.08 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.77% or 0.81 to hit $46.69 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.90% or 11.85 to trade at $1330.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.08% to 6.6804, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4554.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.20% at 95.78.
