Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Agriculture & Food, Financial Services and Energy & Utilities sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.74%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Alinma Tokio Marine Co (SE:8312), which rose 10.41% or 1.65 points to trade at 17.50 at the close. Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110) added 9.54% or 1.25 points to end at 14.35 and Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (SE:8150) was up 5.30% or 0.80 points to 15.90 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Pharmaceutical Appliances (SE:2070), which lost 1.75% or 0.60 points to trade at 33.60 in late trade. Methanol Chemicals Company (SE:2001) declined 1.64% or 0.10 points to end at 6.00 and Saudi Marke (SE:4006) shed 1.42% or 0.40 points to 27.70.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 108 to 32 and 29 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.96% or 0.87 to $45.35 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 2.02% or 0.94 to hit $47.42 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.28% or 3.75 to trade at $1345.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.28% to 4.2224, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.24% at 95.18.
