Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Biomed, Financials and Banking sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 lost 0.42%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp), which rose 6.32% or 82 points to trade at 1379 at the close. Avner L (TA:AVNRp) added 6.31% or 15.5 points to end at 261.0 and Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) was up 5.07% or 3820 points to 79100 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Discount (TA:DSCT), which lost 3.87% or 27.5 points to trade at 683.0 in late trade. Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) declined 1.60% or 1040 points to end at 63820 and Poalim (TA:POLI) shed 1.44% or 31 points to 2123.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 228 to 111 and 108 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 3.62% or 1.61 to $46.09 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 3.55% or 1.65 to hit $48.13 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.23% or 3.15 to trade at $1344.85 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.35% to 3.7492, while EUR/ILS rose 0.02% to 4.2243.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.35% at 95.08.
