Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Hotels & Tourism, Building & Construction and Telecoms & IT sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.11%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Nama Chemicals Co. (SE:2210), which rose 8.33% or 0.30 points to trade at 3.90 at the close. Arabian Shield Coop Insurance Co (SE:8070) added 4.38% or 2.15 points to end at 51.25 and Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050) was up 4.24% or 0.60 points to 14.75 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Industrial Investment Group (SE:2250), which lost 2.12% or 0.40 points to trade at 18.45 in late trade. Herfy Food Services Co (SE:6002) declined 1.61% or 1.25 points to end at 76.25 and Arabian Pipes Company (SE:2200) shed 1.58% or 0.25 points to 15.60.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 109 to 46 and 22 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.37% or 0.17 to $46.05 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.43% or 0.21 to hit $48.89 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.39% or 4.82 to trade at $1231.72 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.44% to 4.1071, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.37% at 98.78.
