Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Miscellaneous Industry, Mining and Basic Industry sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite lost 0.94%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Roda Vivatex Tbk (JK:RDTX), which rose 24.49% or 1200.000 points to trade at 6100.000 at the close. Capitol Nusantara Indonesia (JK:CANI) added 23.38% or 94 points to end at 496 and Bank Mayapada Internasional (JK:MAYA) was up 17.02% or 480 points to 3300 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk (JK:INRU), which lost 10.00% or 38 points to trade at 342 in late trade. Bumi Teknokultura Unggul Tbk (JK:BTEK) declined 9.95% or 95 points to end at 860 and Asuransi Jasa Tania Tbk (JK:ASJT) shed 9.92% or 26.00 points to 236.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 215 to 80 and 85 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.68% or 0.82 to $49.51 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.69% or 0.86 to hit $51.73 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.48% or 6.15 to trade at $1275.85 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.19% to 13012.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.21% to 9842.25.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.01% at 96.09.
