Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Consumer Durables And Apparel and Energy sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 1.14%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Opera Software ASA (OSLO:OPERA), which rose 2.82% or 1.34 points to trade at 48.86 at the close. Meanwhile, Marine Harvest ASA (OSLO:MHG) added 2.03% or 1.95 points to end at 98.00 and Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd (OSLO:RCLo) was up 1.14% or 8.5 points to 755.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Aker Solutions OL (OSLO:AKSOL), which fell 5.34% or 1.71 points to trade at 30.30 at the close. Det norske oljeselskap ASA (OSLO:DETNOR) declined 4.06% or 1.92 points to end at 45.38 and Akastor ASA (OSLO:AKAS) was down 4.00% or 0.5 points to 10.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 117 to 59 and 8 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.94% or 0.89 to $45.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.26% or 0.61 to hit $48.27 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.45% or 5.00 to trade at $1104.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.17% to 9.2451, while USD/NOK fell 0.33% to 8.1557.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.35% at 95.22.
