Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Biomed, Insurance and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 lost 0.14%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp), which rose 4.41% or 57 points to trade at 1350 at the close. Meanwhile, Avner L (TA:AVNRp) added 3.86% or 9.6 points to end at 258.0 and Frutarom (TA:FRUT) was up 2.13% or 320 points to 15320 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Perrigo (TA:PRGO), which fell 4.13% or 2530 points to trade at 58700 at the close. OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) declined 2.18% or 79 points to end at 3553 and Melisron (TA:MLSR) was down 2.10% or 300 points to 13960.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 190 to 122 and 136 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.71% or 0.32 to $45.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.76% or 0.36 to hit $48.22 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.08% or 0.90 to trade at $1168.00 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.17% to 3.8749, while EUR/ILS fell 1.39% to 4.3254.
The US Dollar Index was up 1.08% at 96.11.
