Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.69%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes B (CO:NZYMb), which rose 10.81% or 30.0 points to trade at 307.6 at the close. Meanwhile, TDC A/S (CO:TDC) added 4.18% or 1.48 points to end at 36.91 and Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) was up 2.35% or 1.75 points to 76.35 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were DSV (CO:DSV), which fell 1.80% or 4.9 points to trade at 267.1 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) declined 1.59% or 3.2 points to end at 197.6 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was down 1.26% or 4.6 points to 360.3.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 83 to 73 and 6 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.15% or 0.07 to $45.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.28% or 0.14 to hit $47.98 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.01% or 0.10 to trade at $1167.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 1.83% to 6.6993, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4582.
The US Dollar Index was up 1.29% at 96.31.
