Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Building & Construction, Transport and Petrochemicals sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 1.26%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Advanced Industries Co. (SE:2120), which rose 9.49% or 1.20 points to trade at 13.85 at the close. Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (SE:8200) added 9.27% or 0.70 points to end at 8.25 and Al Hammadi Co (SE:4007) was up 7.12% or 2.50 points to 37.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Abdullah A. M. Al-Khodari Sons Co (SE:1330), which lost 1.17% or 0.15 points to trade at 12.65 in late trade. Southern Province Cement Co. (SE:3050) declined 1.14% or 0.75 points to end at 65.25 and Lazurde for Jewelry Co (SE:4011) shed 0.82% or 0.20 points to 24.05.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 141 to 22 and 15 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.25% or 0.12 to $48.98 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.31% or 0.16 to hit $51.97 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 2.51% or 30.15 to trade at $1230.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.03% to 4.0233, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 100.31.
