Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Infrastructure, Mining and Trade sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite added 0.23%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Unggul Indah Cahaya Tbk (JK:UNIC), which rose 23.82% or 960.00 points to trade at 4990.00 at the close. Bintang Mitra Semestaraya Tbk (JK:BMSR) added 22.69% or 27.00 points to end at 146.00 and Metro Realty Tbk (JK:MTSM) was up 17.76% or 54 points to 358 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Radana Bhaskara Finance Tbk (JK:HDFA), which lost 21.21% or 42 points to trade at 156 in late trade. Bank Of India Indonesia Tbk (JK:BSWD) declined 19.23% or 450 points to end at 1890 and Rimau Multi Putra Pratama (JK:CMPP) shed 13.67% or 19 points to 120.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 165 to 155 and 117 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.61% or 0.30 to $49.20 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.72% or 0.37 to hit $51.83 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.77% or 9.71 to trade at $1266.11 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.05% to 13291.5, while AUD/IDR fell 0.23% to 9910.40.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 97.00.
