Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences, Energy and Transport sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 1.62%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Yara International ASA (OL:YAR), which rose 0.06% or 0.2 points to trade at 351.1 at the close. Lerøy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) fell 0.50% or 2.3 points to end at 458.6 and Orkla ASA (OL:ORK) was down 0.52% or 0.40 points to 77.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL), which lost 6.23% or 1.5 points to trade at 22.4 in late trade. BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) declined 5.48% or 2.40 points to end at 41.36 and DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) shed 5.21% or 0.47 points to 8.55.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 132 to 49 and 21 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.81% or 0.43 to $52.74 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.45% or 0.25 to hit $55.45 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.54% or 6.40 to trade at $1197.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.45% to 8.8839, while USD/NOK fell 0.32% to 8.3158.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 100.49.
