Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Investment, Industrials and Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.17%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Bcolombia (CN:BIC), which rose 1.54% or 400.0 points to trade at 26420.0 at the close. Empresa De Energia De Bogota (CN:EEB) added 0.55% or 10.0 points to end at 1835.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) was up 0.35% or 100.0 points to 28320.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which lost 1.90% or 50.0 points to trade at 2580.0 in late trade. Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) declined 1.32% or 200.0 points to end at 14940.0 and Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) shed 1.22% or 0.3 points to 24.2.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 15 to 7 and 7 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was down 0.95% or 1.28 to $133.10 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 3.33% or 59.50 to hit $1847.50 , while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.21% or 2.70 to trade at $1286.50 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.84% to 2875.83, while BRL/COP rose 0.89% to 913.43.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 99.81.
