Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Technology, Healthcare and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.19%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb), which rose 4.52% or 5.40 points to trade at 125.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) added 3.60% or 19.5 points to end at 561.5 and Telefonaktiebolaget L M Ericsson B (ST:ERICb) was up 3.40% or 2.70 points to 82.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which fell 1.78% or 2.70 points to trade at 148.60 at the close. Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) declined 1.04% or 2.5 points to end at 237.8 and Hennes & Mauritz AB, H & M ser. B (ST:HMb) was down 0.96% or 3.1 points to 318.2.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 299 to 260 and 10 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.37% or 0.15 to $40.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.97% or 0.88 to hit $43.59 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.34% or 3.70 to trade at $1084.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.41% to 9.3097, while USD/SEK rose 0.24% to 8.6944.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.47% at 99.35.
