Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.10%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 1.89% or 16.5 points to trade at 891.5 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) added 0.62% or 4.0 points to end at 653.5 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) was up 0.32% or 0.11 points to 35.03 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which lost 1.31% or 3.6 points to trade at 270.4 in late trade. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) declined 1.19% or 5.1 points to end at 423.2 and DSV (CO:DSV) shed 0.52% or 1.5 points to 284.6.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 72 to 64 and 23 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.84% or 0.84 to $44.91 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.67% or 0.79 to hit $46.38 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.89% or 11.75 to trade at $1331.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.05% to 6.7567, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4393.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.14% at 97.02.
