Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Industrials, Investment and Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.38%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p), which rose 0.54% or 60.0 points to trade at 11160.0 at the close. Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) added 0.51% or 160.0 points to end at 31460.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) was down 0.27% or 10.0 points to 3705.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grupoaval (CN:GAA), which lost 2.03% or 25.0 points to trade at 1205.0 in late trade. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) declined 1.77% or 25.0 points to end at 1390.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) shed 1.53% or 180.0 points to 11620.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 19 to 8 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was down 0.79% or 1.14 to $142.68 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 0.16% or 3.50 to hit $2246.50 , while the February Gold contract fell 0.75% or 8.90 to trade at $1172.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.58% to 2924.25, while BRL/COP fell 1.35% to 906.97.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.80% at 102.20.
