In a report, Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation said that Canadian housing starts rose to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 211.9K, from 197.7K in the preceding month whose figure was revised down from 198.1K.
Analysts had expected Canadian housing starts to rise to 198.7K last month.
