Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Healthcare, Real Estate and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.10%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 2.13% or 23.0 points to trade at 1103.0 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) added 1.46% or 3.8 points to end at 263.3 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) was up 1.39% or 1.9 points to 138.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb), which lost 2.72% or 280 points to trade at 10020 in late trade. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) declined 2.02% or 5.1 points to end at 247.4 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) shed 1.93% or 190 points to 9650.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 71 to 68 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.19% or 0.96 to $42.95 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.67% or 0.78 to hit $45.81 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.47% or 6.15 to trade at $1311.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.82% to 6.6769, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4483.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.78% at 96.02.
