Gold Resource Corporation (NYSE-A:GORO, ETR:GIH) said it has been invited by Michigan’s Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy to participate in a Scoping Environmental Impact Assessment meeting where it will present the initial site plan and other key improvements being incorporated into the Back Forty gold-zinc project’s optimized feasibility study.
The company said another objective of the meeting, being held on August 5, 2022, is for the Department and key stakeholders to discuss the permitting process and related requirements of the Back Forty project.
Gold Resource CEO Allen Palmiere said the meeting was a fantastic opportunity for the company to introduce its initial site plans to key stakeholders in the community, especially tribal communities.
